Do you:

The FGH Items Remover is what you need. This application will analyse your company file and display a List of all the Items. It will show how many times each Item is referenced in recorded transactions and other places, such as Recurring Sales or as a component in an Auto Build Item.

The List can be sorted on any column. You can filter the List based on Item Numbers, as well as copy the List into a spreadsheet to analyse further.

You can download our Items Remover from our downloads page. Install it on your computer and run it. The application will step you through the process of selecting your company file, displaying the List of Items, and Deleting or Amalgamating Items.

Delete
From the displayed List, you can select all the Items you want to delete, and providing there is no Stock On Hand on any selected Items, all the Items will be deleted in an instance - no more deleting one by one using MYOB®. And no more MYOB® stopping you with messages like 'You have sales or purchases on file for this item' or 'You have journal entries on file that use this item'. You should however ensure you are no longer using any Items selected for deletion.

Amalgamate
The List will display MYOB's Record ID for each Item. To amalgamate 2 Items, simply enter the Record ID of the 2 Items, the one you want to remove and the one you want to retain.

Process
After selecting the Items you want to delete or amalgamate, you will be presented with a Confirmation screen which summarises what you have chosen to do. You will then need to enter a code which you can purchase below. The code is a one time purchase code, unique to this company file but can be used whenever you want to make changes using this application.

Trial
The program is fully functional on a Clearwater sample file. If you would like to 'try' it on 'real' data, you will need to zip and upload/email a copy of your file. We will make the file time limited and return it with a code. You can then try out Items Remover with a copy of your real data for 30 days.
