MYOB announces end of Confirmation Codes for v19


Accounting, Plus, Premier and Enterprise
Affects all files with a .myo extension
eg. v14, v18, v19.5, v19.16 etc



In early Nov 2025, MYOB Australia announced they are retiring AccountRight Classic v19 as well as AccountEdge. Although they ended support for v19 in Sep 2019, from 28 Feb 2026 they will no longer be providing confirmation codes. This means your MYOB company file will become read-only.

See here for detailed information about how confirmation works, esp that every MYOB company file has a built in expiry date.

Without a new confirmation code every few months, the file becomes read-only, until a new code is entered.
